Gujarat Somnath Mahadev Temple

Gujarat Somnath temple is one of the most sacred and revered Hindu shrines in India. The temple is situated on the western coast of Gujarat, in the town of Somnath. The temple is dedicated to Lord Somnath, who is considered to be one of the twelve jyotirlingas of Shiva. The Somnath temple has been destroyed and rebuilt several times over the centuries, most recently in 1951.
